Our Signature Projects
SMW Designs: Our Work
We have built and installed dozens of custom woodworking projects for our satisfied customers, from custom furniture like dining tables, entertainment centers, bookshelves, cabinets, and desks, to more integrated builds like butcher block countertops and exterior decks and patios.
Please take a look through some of these past projects showcased here, and know that we are happy to work with you on whatever custom project you have in mind. We know that everyone’s home is unique, and one-size-fits-all products don’t get the job done the way a piece that is custom tailored to your home does.

Custom Built-In Bookshelf with Rolling Ladder
This is a one-of-a-kind custom built-in bookshelf with a sliding ladder built for a client here in Billings. We are really happy with how this turned out!
Solid Walnut Desk
This solid walnut desk was a custom project for a client here in Billings. It turned out beautifully, and we even had some professional pictures taken.
Red Oak Pool Table Tabletop
This is a solid red oak custom table top that we built for a client in Billings. It fits over a standard sized pool table to turn it into a dining table. It is built in four leaves, with each leaf weighing about 80 lbs. When you’re not using it and ready to play pool, you just move the leaves into a matching storage cabinet.
